Inaugural London Conference 2012
ENGAGING JUNIOR DOCTORS IN QUALITY AND SAFETY IMPROVEMENT
Thursday 29th March 2012

Success!

This one day conference was developed to promote the engagement of doctors in postgraduate training in quality improvement.
Around 300 delegates attended the conference on Thursday 29 March 2012. It was an extremely positive day with some 90 junior doctors presenting on their projects in various workshops throughout the day and 114 posters on display around Senate House.
The conference provided a unique opportunity for doctors in postgraduate training to showcase their quality improvement work they have carried out in their trust or training organisation within the last year and helped to engage, develop and harness this largely untapped resource and promote the engagement of doctors in postgraduate training in quality improvement.
This day also included interactive workshops on quality improvement methodology and thought-provoking plenary presentations from leaders in the field.
Please note that some of the powerpoint presentations from the keynote speakers and junior doctors can be downlaoded from the list on the right hand side of this page.
