Clinical Leadership 360

The London Deanery, in partnership with Real World Group, have developed a multisource feedback programme through which clinicians can learn more about and develop their leadership effectiveness.  The tool is web-based and provides participants with a bound, collated report on their leadership behaviours, with an emphasis on how they engage others.

This web-based instrument is an invaluable adjunct to local work-based leadership development activities such as quality improvement projects.  On completion of the MSF participants receive a personalised 1:1 coaching session on the results and how they can take the issues identified forward.

The Clinical Leadership 360 is provided by the Real World Group and is available for access by all clinicians at whatever their stage of training or professional development.  Subject to the continuing availability of funding, the London Deanery is providing access to the instrument at a 65% discount for specialty trainees in London programmes and staff and associate specialist grades in London trusts.  For both these groups, the cost of participation is just £90 (+VAT) - considerably cheaper, and more effective, than the traditional leadership 'course'.
